I then noticed that not only had they posted a pre-trip message but they also post-trip a message as well! The review was extremely positive, filled with hope and determination to become a part of the revitlization of Idlewild. So, I sent them an email and wham, bam, thank you mam they kindly email ed back a set of lake view photos. Since they were kind enough to share I decided to ask if could share them will our readers. Idlewild is a hidden treasure. The cluster of lakes is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. My grandfather really enjoyed our visit. It brought back wonderful memories for him. My husband and children also enjoyed the trip. We hope to purchase property and build a home there.

You have a great web site that will serve your viewers very well.I really enjoyed it. Would it be possible for you to link www.iaacc.co to your web site? I would also like to link your web site to the Idlewild web site. If you need news bits from the Idlewild area, I will be able to help in some way.

I am a graduate student at Northwestern University in the Journalism school and I am writing a historical profile of Idlewild, Michigan. I visited this past weekend and it was amazing to learn about the rich African-American history of the place. If anyone who has been there either in its heyday or recently or has some type of connection to Idlewild and would like to share their story with me, I would really appreciate it. I am on a time crunch so the sooner the better. Please e-mail me at ytara26@yahoo.com. Thanks!

I'm interested in taking a trip to Idlewild with my family next summer. Are there any places I can look at renting for the weekend? Please pass on the information.
